Over the last five years, the tight and transparent sound of STANICH touring amplifiers has earned the praise of renowned FOH engineers and leading
sound rental companies worldwide.
N12 Series, the flagship four-channel model continues this tradition. At the core of the N12 performance is the patented Class TD output stage, a breakthrough amplifier topology that approaches the exceptional efficiency of Class D while retaining the sonic purity of proven Class B designs. Further contributing to the remarkable efficiency of the N12 is a Regulated Switch Mode Power Supply (R.SMPS), which gives the added benefit of stabilizing rail voltages to the output even with wide fluctuations of mains voltage. A highly refined and updated circuit layout optimizes the interaction of R.SMPS and Class TD to produce the extraordinary power density of the N12.
To keep its cool under extreme demands, the N12 relies on STANICH proprietary Intercooler. This innovation uses thousands of copper fins to multiply the exposed heatsink surface’s rapid heat dissipation.

Also, all output devices are mounted transverse to the airflow for uniform cooling.
To maximize headroom in any application, the N12 offers adjustable input gain along with STANICH exclusive Voltage Peak Limiter (VPL). Adjustable on a per-channel basis, VPL optimizes the output for any load, from a single massive subwoofer to a series of HF compression drivers.
The comprehensive warning and protection features on the N12 safeguard output circuits and connected loads while also extending amplifier life and minimizing chance of service interruptions.
Whether it’s a matter of faulty wiring, improper use, or extreme ambient temperatures, the N12 gives clear indication of any problems. Automatic protection measures engage only at critical thresholds.
Operating conditions are re-checked every six seconds and, if a fault is detected, normal operation is resumed when measurements return to nominal.
The N12 is shipped with a DeviceControl software, or the leading third party control platforms, DFM network allows monitoring of all key amplifier parameters and remote control of power on/off, channel mutes, and channel solo functions.

Channel Modes and Network

The power amplifier shall provide four discrete channels of amplification. The amplifier shall employ a proprietary tracking Class D output circuit topology. With a professional PC control software, through Ethernet remote real-time control, the output can be free to the distribution.
The proprietary control and monitoring network shall use Cat-5 cable for interconnection, and shall allow control and monitoring directly from the network bridge’s rear-panel or, via the bridge, from an external PC running proprietary software.

Power Supply and Protection

The power supply shall be a regulated switch mode type. The amplifier shall operate from AC line sources of either 230 V nominal or 90 V nominal, with
operating ranges of 90 – 265 V at line frequencies of 50 Hz or 60 Hz. A soft-start circuit shall limit current inrush at power-up to 5 A. The amplifier shall be
equipped with a PAL circuit to prevent excessive current draw.

Power Output and Performance

Maximum total output of all four channels shall be 12000 watts. In discrete four-channel mode, each amplifier channel shall deliver maximum continuous output power as follows: 700 watts into 16 ohms, 1400 watts into 8 ohms; 2800 watts into 4 ohms; or 3000 watts into 2,6 ohms. Maximum output voltage per channel shall be 150 Vpp; maximum output current per channel shall be 54 A peak.
The N12 Power amplifier Built-in 96KHz sampling frequency, 40-bit floating-point DSP chip processor, with signal delay analog to analog output: 2.6ms, which input delay: 200ms, the output delay: 10ms.

CONNECTORS, CONTROLS, AND INDICATORS

The following connectors and controls shall be on the REAR-PANEL of the amplifier. The two input connectors shall be electronically balanced XLR-F.
The four output connectors shall be either binding post or Neutrik Speakon. Ethernet-housed RJ45 connector shall be provided for input of the control/-
monitoring network signals. An LED adjacent to the RJ45 connectors shall indicate active or inactive status of the network.
